Story: Lanzarote is just 125 km from the African coast. The island is blanketed in 3-5 meters of lava and ash. This unique terroir demands that each vine be planted in a hole that penetrates the volcanic crust to reach the fertile soil beneath. The nutrient-poor soil results in minuscule yields, however, it also concentrates the flavors in each grape, producing wines of exceptional intensity. Every aspect of vineyard work at Bermejos is meticulously performed by hand, a testament to Ignacio Valdera's dedication to quality and sustainability.  To supplement the low yields from his own vineyards, Ignacio collaborates with local growers who share his vision of sustainable viticulture, ensuring a steady supply of high-quality grapes.

Taste: Medium bodied with blend of ripe citrus fruits complemented by hints of green apple and pear. Minerality on the palate kept in balance by the citrus fruit characteristics with herbs and salt on the finish.
