Details 📌: Sourced from the north facing Rampone and Simonelli parcels totaling two hectares at 300 meters on silty calcareous soils. Fermented spontaneously in concrete with temperature control. Malolactic completed in this vintage. Aged nine months in concrete on fine lees for natural texture and stability. No fining or filtration.
Story 📖: After years in conventional wineries across Italy, Chiara Penati and Michele Conoscente wanted a place where they could farm steep, difficult land with intention. The name means Beyond the Stream in reference to the Scrivia River but also hints at their philosophical stance of working countercurrent to industrial winemaking. They farm organically, rely on biodynamic ideas, and treat each of their ten parcels as its own ecological world.
