Style π: Ethereal and vibrant. Ripe peach, white nectarine, and lime juice, carried on a beam of electric acidity. Underlying notes of wet slate and a whisper of wild herbs make it impossibly refreshing and complex.
Details π: Sourced from young vines in Haart's prized, steep, grey slate vineyards in Piesport. Farmed organically with meticulous care. The "1000L" name is a winemaking homage, referring to the traditional 1000 liter (or Fuder) casks used for aging in the Mosel. Grapes are hand harvested, whole bunch pressed, and fermented spontaneously with native yeasts. It's aged on its fine lees in large, neutral oak casks to build texture without oak flavor, preserving pure fruit and mineral energy.
