Grange Tiphaine 'Clef De Sol' Blanc 2023 Loire Valley, France
Grange Tiphaine 'Clef De Sol' Blanc 2023 Loire Valley, France
Style 😋: Dry and expressive Chenin Blanc with medium body, firm structure, and vibrant energy. Delivers lifted aromas of pear skin, honeysuckle, and lime zest with a palate that balances ripe orchard fruit, stony minerality, and racy acidity. Tannins are barely perceptible but lend quiet grip to the finish.
Producer: Coralie and Damien Delecheneau
Story 📖: Coralie and Damien farm and make wine in Amboise, at the historic family estate founded by Damien's great-great-grandfather in the late 1800s. After taking over at just 22, Damien transformed the domaine through organic and biodynamic farming, careful cellar work, and a deep sense of community. Today they are leaders in Montlouis, known for elegant, terroir-driven wines and a spirit of openness and fairness in everything they do.
Clef de Sol means treble clef, a nod to the couple's love of music and their belief that each wine expresses the harmony of their soils. The blanc is 100 percent Chenin Blanc from 80-year-old vines rooted in clay and silica over limestone. Fermented and aged in 400 liter barrels for about a year, it’s a flagship for the estate and a brilliant expression of Montlouis.
