Place: Willamette Valley, Oregon

Story: Gewürztraminer (56%), Pinot Gris (38%), and Pinot Blanc (6%) from four organically farmed sites (non-certified) in the Willamette Valley: Sunnyside, Andreas, Finnigan Hill, and Tsai Vineyards. All of which are dry-farmed without the use of artificial herbicides and pesticides. The 2023 Oregon Orange is a blend of destemmed Gewürztraminer (for spice, weight, and aromatics), and whole cluster-fermented Pinot Gris and Pinot Blanc (for brightness and texture) that spent 10-months on skins in egg shaped fermenters. After pressing, the wine aged for an additional month in old French oak barrels before bottling, without fining or filtration. 12.6% abv.
