"This is a single-variety cider. The Harrison apple was the famous apple of sparkling wines, originally from New Jersey. It was thought to be extinct and then found in the 1970s. It’s been recultivated and is now around, though it’s still pretty damn rare. The cider it makes is really perfumed and exotic, sorta sweaty and apple-y and stone fruity. This is the most rich and lavish, exuberant and full and in-your-face. “Drink me!” it is yelling at you. I hope you listen to it. Slightly off-dry!"
