A lifelong winemaker, Joan started making wine in Conca de Barberà in 1999. He stopped using SO2 in 2005. He is a master. The wines need some time, but rarely get it. This is medium in body and bursting with red fruit and bright acidity. It is perfectly balanced with spice, fruit, and a hint of smoke.
