A lifelong winemaker, Joan started making wine in Conca de Barberà in 1999. He stopped using SO2 in 2005. He is a master. The wines need some time, but rarely get it. This is earthy and savory with some pretty red cherry fruit. It is full in body with grippy tannin and good structure.
