Domaine Marquis d’Angerville was one of the first estates in Burgundy to bottle its own wine, rather than sell their grapes to negociants. That was in the 1920s, before Volnay was even recognized as an appellation. Today, under the guidance of Guillame d’Angerville, these wines are inextricably linked with the village they helped put on the map.
