Story 📖: In the high-altitude vineyards of Valle d'Aosta, Danilo Thomain is the sole independent producer working in the tiny, steeply terraced appellation of Enfer d'Arvier. Named “Hell of Arvier” for its sun-drenched amphitheater, this unique terroir traps heat and allows the rare Petit Rouge grape to ripen fully, producing wines with both vibrancy and structure. Farming without chemicals and working as naturally as possible in the cellar, Danilo’s wines capture the wild essence of the Alps. 

The 2022 vintage is a pure expression of mountain winemaking—lively, mineral-driven, and built to pair with rustic alpine cuisine. With tiny production and deep local roots, this is a wine that shouldn’t be missed.
