I would be doing pirouettes too if I could make wine like this! Christian Binner started a movement of real wine in Alsace.  He and his friends now make a bunch of different wines under the 'Les Vins Pirouettes' label.  This is Pinot Noir from Christian Engel, of Domaine Engel.  The grapes come from a two acre plot of 40 year old Pinot Noir vines on gneiss soils.
