Michael Cruse was born and raised in California. He has worked for some big name wineries before starting his own project in 2008. While 'Ultramarine' sparkling wine put him on the map, 'Monkey Jacket' is the flagship for Cruse Wine Co. This is medium bodied, fruity and fun. It has some amazing aromas of strawberries and bramble with hints of olive and leather. 53% Valdiguié, 14% Carignan, 14% Red Field Blend, 8% Petite Sirah, 8% Tannat, 3% St. Laurent, 1% Pinot Noir.
