Piero Incisa della Rocchetta is the grandson of Italian wine royalty. His grandfather, the Marchese Mario Incisa della Rocchetta, created Sassicaia. Located, seemingly, in the middle of nowhere, Piero farms century old pinot noir vines planted in the arid Rio Negro Valley of Patagonia. ‘Trienta Y Dos’ comes from the oldest vines at the bodega, vinified in a mix of concrete and used French Oak. It is Piero’s most structured wine, tasting of subtle spice, mesquite, and macerated cherry.
