Story: Candialle is a hidden gem in the heart of Tuscany, with roots dating back to Roman times. This stunning estate, located in Panzano in Chianti’s famous Conca d’Oro, was lovingly restored in 1999 by Josephin and Jarkko Peränen, a German-Finnish duo with a deep respect for tradition and nature. They released their first wine in 2002, and today, they farm their 12.2 hectares of organic vineyards with regenerative practices that prioritize native plants, composting, and minimal soil disturbance.

Today, they focus on local varieties, so this is a treat. Before they ripped up the old Bordeaux variety grape vines, they made this blend: 75% Merlot, 20% Petit Verdot, 5% Cabernet Franc. Rested for 18 months in French oak barrels. Only 4000 bottles produced.
