Story š: Pierre Cotton grew up in Brouilly, but it wasnāt until he worked a harvest in the Loire that he decided to return home and take over the family domaine. Alongside his partner Marine Bonnet, heās become one of Beaujolaisā most exciting young growers. Together, they farm organically, ferment with native yeasts, and work without sulfur until bottlingāproducing soulful, vibrant Gamay from the volcanic slopes of CĆ“te de Brouilly.
āLes Grillesā comes from a single parcel on decomposed granite (grilles) that gives the wine its signature mineral tension. Whole-cluster fermentation in concrete, followed by aging in old barrels for finesse and depth. Itās structured yet super drinkable.
