Taste 😋: Medium bodied with some grippy tannin (but deceptively light in color), this has pretty aromas of candied cherries, herbs and dried flowers. More red fruit qualities on the palate with some spice and savory notes.

Story 📖: Agostino began making wines in the 1950’s when he committed to focusing on the Barbera grape long before it was appreciated. His sons have continued his tradition and today the estate is well known for their elegant and precise expressions of Barbera. This Grignolino is also an underdog story; an overlooked grape in a place with all the potential for making world class wines. Aged in stainless steel so the grape shines through, this is benchmark Grignolino.
