Details 📌: Fermented spontaneously in stainless steel. Piedirosso vines about fifteen years old planted at the top of Raffaelle terraces in pure volcanic sand. Farming is organic and everything is done by hand on these impossible slopes. No fining or filtration.
Story 📖 On the western edge of Naples lies the Campi Flegrei an ancient volcanic landscape of craters, steam vents and dramatic slopes that tumble toward the Tyrrhenian Sea. This is where Raffaelle Moccia farms some of the most singular vineyards in Italy. His family has tended terraces in the crater of Agnano for generations and many of his vines are between sixty and two hundred years old planted on their own roots in volcanic ash sand and basalt.
