Story šŸ“–Ā Salvatore Marino grew up in a family of winemakers in Pachino, where his father and grandfather made bulk wine. After a decade of experience in large wineries in California, Puglia, and Sicily, he launched his own project in 2017 with his wife Stefania. Today, he farms 15 hectares of polyculture land, half under vine, the rest planted with grains, citrus, olives, and more. Marino believes in small scale, hands on farming and building wines that reflect Pachino’s wind- wept coastal terroir. ā€œTuriā€ is both his nickname and the name of his wine.
