Details: Fruit comes from the younger vines of Roagna’s top sites including Pira in Castiglione Falletto (Barolo) and Pajè in Barbaresco. Fermented in large casks with extended maceration. Aged for more than two years in large neutral botti with no fining or filtration.
Story: Roagna is one of the most revered names in Piedmont. The family has been rooted in Barbaresco for more than a century and the estate is now guided by fifth generation winemaker Luca Roagna. Since taking over in the early two thousands, Luca has refined the classic Roagna style while holding fast to long macerations, low cellar intervention and large cask aging.
