Grape: 50% Grenache Noir, 50% Mourvèdre

Style: Medium bodied with fine tannins and balanced acidity. Olives, smoke, blackberry, black cherry, Mediterranean herbs, and cracked pepper. 

Details: Organic. Aged 22 months in a mix of concrete, cement, and old barrels. Bottled unfined, unfiltered, with no added sulfur.

Story: Cyril Fahl founded Clos du Rouge Gorge after leaving the cooperative system, determined to make soulful wines that reflect the rugged landscapes of Roussillon. His reputation has grown steadily as one of the region’s most thoughtful voices, farming organically and working with minimal intervention in the cellar.
