Details: From Les Isles, a south facing slope with Jurassic clay limestone soils planted in 1973. Biodynamic, fermented in oak with indigenous yeasts. Aged 20 months. Bottled unfined and unfiltered with minimal sulfur.

Story: Domaine Courbet dates back to 1869 in Château Chalon, where the family once practiced polyculture before focusing fully on vines. Today, Damien Courbet leads the domaine after training with masters like Olivier Merlin, Zind Humbrecht, Nicolas Potel, and Jim Clendenen. He has expanded the estate to 9.5 hectares and transitioned to certified organic farming with biodynamic practices.
