Valerie and her ex bought an estate in the late 90’s. Their neighbors happened to run Clos Roche Blanche and helped Valerie get the estate into winemaking condition. Soon after, that neighbor, Didier Barrouillet convinced her to convert to organic farming. She is now doing everything by hand, using indigenous yeast, and focusing on farming better grapes. The results are obvious.
