Laherte Freres 'Rosé de Meunier' Extra Brut NV Champagne, France

Regular price $64.97

Grape 🍇: Pinot Meunier

Style 😋: Light to medium bodied with zippy acidity and a soft, chalky texture. Bursting with notes of wild strawberry, blood orange, rhubarb, rose petals, and crushed oyster shell. Finishes dry with a savory note and a hint of spice.

Details 📌: Made with a mix of macerated, direct press, and still red Meunier from biodynamically farmed vineyards in the Côteaux Sud d’Épernay. Aged seven months in foudres with partial malolactic fermentation and finished with a low 2.5 g/l dosage.

Story 📖: Laherte Frères is a dynamic grower estate now led by Aurélien Laherte, who joined his family domaine in 2005 and has since become one of Champagne’s most thoughtful vignerons. Based in Chavot, the estate works over 75 parcels across 10.5 hectares, most of which are farmed biodynamically. Aurélien is a co-founder of the influential Terres et Vins group and his work emphasizes precise, low-intervention, terroir-driven Champagne. Rosé de Meunier is a perfect example of that vision, bright and vinous while deeply expressive of both grape and place.
