Story 📖: Nat Cool is the brainchild of Dirk Niepoort, one of Portugal’s most visionary and restless winemakers. Best known for reinventing his family’s famed Port house while simultaneously launching daring side projects, Dirk thrives on questioning tradition and creating wines that make people rethink what Portuguese wine can be.

The “Drink Me” Tinto was the very first Nat Cool bottling, a playful take on Baga, Bairrada’s famously tannic and structured grape. Instead of making it heavy and serious, Dirk leaned into glou glou freshness, showing a different face of Bairrada. Now an icon of the modern Portuguese wine movement, this liter bottle is a symbol of everyday natural wine joy.
