Details 📌: Sourced from 40-50 year old vines grown in volcanic sand and limestone soils. The grapes are hand harvested and undergo whole cluster fermentation with native yeasts in open containers. After 15 days on the skins, the wine is aged for 10 months in neutral 500L French oak barrels, before being bottled unfined and unfiltered.
Story 📖: Juan Francisco "JuanFra" Farina is a visionary winemaker in Tenerife's Valle de Güímar, known for his sustainable farming and dedication to local varieties. Taking over his father's vineyards, he founded 'Los Loros', named for the area's laurel shrubs. He works tirelessly to recuperate old, high elevation vineyards and champion traditional Canary Island grapes, crafting wines of exceptional purity and place from the volcanic slopes of Mount Teide.
