Details: From a dramatically steep hillside in St. Aldegund with grey slate and ancient ungrafted vines. Hand harvested and fermented with native yeasts. This is Stein’s top dry bottling, essentially the estate’s GG in everything but name.

Story: Ulli Stein is one of the Mosel’s great iconoclasts, a guardian of old vines and forgotten terraces whose wines are shaped by instinct, humility and deep respect for the land. For decades he has worked some of the region’s steepest and most precarious vineyards, fighting to preserve ungrafted vines that would otherwise have been pulled out in favor of easier farming. His philosophy is simple: let the slopes speak.
