Details: From the Côte de Brouilly, planted on rare “corne verte” soils unique to Odenas. Organic, semi carbonic with native yeasts in concrete, aged 9 months in century old foudres. No SO2.
Story: Pierre Cotton is the latest in a long family line of vignerons, working out of a historic chai that dates back to the 18th century. After a short detour as a motorcycle mechanic, he returned in 2014 to make his first wines. Over the years, he and his partner Marine Bonnet, an agronomist specialized in viticulture, have expanded and converted fully to organics. Pierre and Marine’s style is pure and soulful: semi carbonic, no sulfur, and élevage in ancient foudres that once held beer.
