Pinot Noir

Burgundy, France

After working six vintages together, Dominique Le Guen inherited this Chambolle-Musigny estate from his father in law, Joel Hudelot, in 2004. In the cellar, Domenique continues to work with a light hand, harvesting on the earlier side and never over extracting. The Bourgogne Rouge comes from a 1.19 hectare parcel within the village Chambolle Musigny, where the average vine age is around 30 years. The result is a pinot noir that is fresh and elegant, a great match for roast chicken or vegetable dishes.
