Grape: Chenin Blanc

Style: Medium bodied and silky with vibrant acidity. Golden apple, lemon curd, crushed chalk, honeysuckle, and stoney minerality. 

Details: From 10 - 40 year old vines on flinty clay soils over tuffeau limestone. Fermented with native yeasts in barrel. Aged a year in old barrels, goes through  full malo. Unfined with just a drop of SO2. 
Story: One of the great revival stories in the Loire. Founded by Eric and Christine Nicolas in ‘95, the estate helped bring attention back to the forgotten appellations of Jasnières and Coteaux du Loir. Restoring abandoned vineyards, farming biodynamically, and raising their wines in gravity fed cellars carved into tuffeau limestone.
