Style: Medium bodied, fresh with fine tannins. Redcurrant, black cherry, violets, graphite. 

Details: From over 10 parcels in the Champigny commune, on cooler limestone terroirs. Certified organic since 1997. Fermented with native yeasts, aged in neutral barrels. 

Story: Château Yvonne’s history stretches back to the Middle Ages, when monks cultivated these vineyards. Revived in the 1990s by Yvonne and Jean-François Lamunière with guidance from Françoise Foucault, the domaine passed to Matthieu Vallée in 2007. Vallée has since secured Yvonne’s place among Saumur’s elite, farming 11 hectares with meticulous organic care and crafting wines of precision and purity.
