Meinklang Blaufränkisch 2018 Österreich, Austria
Maybe the most interesting place for natural wines over the last five years.  This is an awesome producer who makes a decent amount of wine but in the most thoughtful way.  They farm everything biodynamically, which is a LOT of work. This is from the border of Austria and Hungary, where Tokaj sweet wine comes from.  A tough place to grow grapes in general, they crush it.  Blaufränkisch from a 70 hectare farm all biodynamically farmed by hand, fermented in steel then 8 months in oak barrels and stainless steel.
Venica & Venica 'Jesera' 2019 Pinot Grigio
Real Pinot Grigio! Welcome to your new life.  Pinot Grigio is a genetic mutation of Pinot Noir, which led to a change in the color - Pinot Grigio (Grey) is a grey grape.  When the skins are left with the fermenting juice for a little it takes on a wonderful coppery hue.
Aurélien Chatagnier 'Le Crét Louison' 2018 Syrah
Tiny production from one man show in the Northern Rhone.  This might be the best bottle I've opened in the shop to date - Souhaut 'Souteronne' 2019 a close second.  All organic, the wine spends 12 months in used barrels (1 to 5 year old).  Average production of this wine is 1,500 bottles/year.
